Streaming Video Alliance opens applications for 2022 Membership Grants Program
FREMONT, Calif .– (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – The Streaming Video Alliance (the Alliance), a global technical association that develops solutions to address critical technical challenges by delivering a high-quality video experience at scale, has opened the application process for its grants program Membership 2022. The program allows small organizations, such as startups, to participate and contribute to the work of the Alliance as core members for one year by waiving standard membership fees. To be eligible for the program, businesses must be able to confirm that they generate less than $ 1.5 million in annual revenue. As part of the Diversity and Inclusion initiative, the Alliance is committed to allocating at least 50% of the 2022 grants to under-represented companies.
“In our fifth year, this program continued to exceed our expectations,” said Jason Thibeault, Alliance CEO. “We are amazed each year by the quality of the candidates and especially by their involvement in our groups and our projects. In the interest of diversity, we hope to continue to attract startups belonging to minorities and women who bring innovative solutions and technologies to help solve the technical challenges addressed in our working groups.
Companies receiving grants are required to attend the three Alliance member meetings each year (there is no limit to the number of people from each company who can attend) and to participate in the relevant working groups. They also have access to the Alliance intranet and documents and can contribute to projects and vote on documents. Members’ meeting Q3 / Q4 2021: Cyberspace… The final?
The third and final meeting of the year for Alliance members is scheduled for October 18-21, 2021.
